Peer Bullying

Bullying can be described as the physical or psychological hostile pressure that one person exerts against another person. In bullying, there is an aggressor (who oppresses), a victim (the target of the oppression) and a spectator (who witnesses bullying). If a person experiences those attitudes by a group, it is called mobbing. It can be defined as the psychological pressure that a student exerts on another student through verbal, emotional or intimidation. Sometimes it can apply pressure by a group of students. Those behaviors repeat and become organized. Bullying behaviors do not always include direct hostile behavior. Those bullying behaviors are seen as logical under the name of joke or friendly communication. Whether directly hostile or as a joke, it both creates psychological pressure on the victim and disrupts the life balance. “Bullying” is used synonym of violence and aggressiveness as an international concept. “Bullying” is a widespread fact which consists of physical, verbal and social damage to a feeble one. Bullying can be classified as follows: psychological and emotional (a gossip or exclusion etc.), verbal (get a nickname, impose constraints, intimidation etc.) and physical (impellent, to kick a victim etc.)
